Last Sunday's Aussie Millions online finals on November 9th featured a sold-out field of 45 runners all hoping to finish the day atop the field, with a $18,000 trip package to the 2009 Aussie Millions clutched firmly in their grasp.

When the final table lineup was set, the field featured largely newcomers, as well as whassup x who was the sole Team veteran in the crowd:

Seat 1: Upper West S ($21,182 in chips)
Seat 2: indrich ($15,440 in chips)
Seat 3: lukass22569 ($31,710 in chips)
Seat 4: kingkong7777 ($13,848 in chips)
Seat 5: Sir Lod ($9,302 in chips)
Seat 6: CorpseGr ($46,024 in chips)
Seat 7: Apartment6 x ($32,963 in chips)
Seat 8: Benny182 ($35,257 in chips)
Seat 9: whassup x ($9,880 in chips)
Seat 10: lasfegas ($9,394 in chips)

Apartmenrt x would go on a big run at the final table, helping to reduce the field to just five players remaining:

Seat 1: Upper West S ($65,621 in chips)
Seat 2: indrich ($25,184 in chips)
Seat 3: lukass22569 ($12,910 in chips)
Seat 4: kingkong7777 ($19,696 in chips)
Seat 7: Apartment6 x ($101,589 in chips)

That's when Upper West S made a move of his own, catching fire and knocking out players left and right. indrich was his first victim, exiting in 5th when his Ac 10s ran into Upper West S's dominating A♥Q♦. lukass22569 was the next to fall, finishing 4th when his A♥T♠ fell to Upper West S's A♦K♠ (a near mirror image of the previous bustout hand).

With three players left, the race for 1st was very tight:

Seat 1: Upper West S ($106,715 in chips)
Seat 4: kingkong7777 ($16,696 in chips)
Seat 7: Apartment6 x ($101,589 in chips)

kingkong7777 and his short stack exited in 3rd, done in by none other than Upper West S. That set up the following heads-up match with the $18,000 Aussie Millions trip hanging in the balance:

Seat 1: Upper West S ($124,911 in chips)
Seat 7: Apartment6 x ($100,089 in chips)

Despite the relatively even chip stacks, it took just 12 hands to decalre a winner. All of the chips flew into the middle pre-flop and Upper West S was once again sitting on a big ace and a dominating hand, holding A♣K♠ versus Apartment6 x's A♥6♥. And, once again, Upper West S's dominating hand actually held up, capping off his big run to eliminate Apartment6 x and claim the trip package to the 2009 Aussie Millions.
