With the highly successful GSOP series wrapped up, things were back to normal at bwin Poker last weekend, with the ChampionChip once again the highlight of the weekend. Sunday's edition of the ChampionChip drew 1,372 entries, with a prizepool of $300,000 up for grabs.
When the dust had settled and a winner was declared, it was quite a noteworthy finish. Not only did KungKroon1 take down the win and the 1st place prize money of $58,500, but he also etched his name firmly in the bwin Poker history books as the first player to win the ChampionChip twice! That's right, kids, not only did he win last Sunday's ChampionChip but KungKroon1 also took down the ChampionChip title back on March 29th as well. In a little less than two months KungKroon1 has cashed for more than $117,000 in winnings at bwin, which is quite the amazing run!
