GSOP 6The GSOP 6 series (which will be handing out more than $3 million in prizemoney over 15 events in the next two weeks) kicked off with a bang on Sunday and today's action in GSOP #2 didn't disappoint.

The $108 NLHE event offered up unlimited rebuys, with 695 total players taking a shot; when all the entries, rebuys, and add-ons were totaled up they'd be playing for $175,000 in prizemoney, with the winner slated to take home $31,842 plus a $5,000 GSOP Grand Slam Finals entry.

While a few of the top finishers from GSOP 31 made deep runs (with BunkerBjarne, smeagol44, and dxfcghbj following up their final table finishes in GSOP #1 with cashes today in GSOP #2 as well), the final table would feature a new crop of players.

The final three players -- KimStan, AAleshkAA, and jahtinen --all have had loads of experience in big buy-in events online and plenty of success to their names, so it'd be a tough fight for the top prizes. Despite holding the chip lead for much of the final table, jahtinen would bow out in 3rd ($15,837), leaving AAleshkAA and KimStan to battle it out for the win.

KimStan would prevail in the end, grinding up his stack and finishing off AAleshkAA in fairly short order. KimStan collected $31,842 + $5,000 GSOP Grand Slam Finals entry for the win, with AAleshkAA taking home $22,121.

Below are the top ten finishers from GSOP 32 along with their winnings:
