Yesterday would see the start of the real poker action in Punta Cana for the season finale of the GSOP Live tour, with a total of 222 runners taking their seats to start their quest for poker riches in the Caribbean.
As has been the case for every GSOP Live event, the bwin Team was out in full force, with more than 50 players (well over 20% of the field) sporting the bwin colors as they took to the tables.
When play wrapped up there'd be 94 players still standing, with several bwin players among the top ten in the chipcounts when they bagged up for the day (bwin Team members bolded below):
| Bela Toth | 162600 |
| Eric Walfridson | 131000 |
| Lars Thomas Schaeffer | 124300 |
| Nick Gibson | 118400 |
| Patrick Vestlin | 110700 |
| Marius Stenfelt | 109900 |
| Victor Abas | 109500 |
| Aku Joentausta | 108100 |
| Timm Gomvel | 108000 |
| Oleksandr Sai | 100200 |
As far as other Team notable names, Redmond Toth is still in the mix with 45,200 chips, as is Neil Mcfayden (33,600), Apostolou Anastasios (26,500), Janos Nemeth (23,700), and Andreas Klatt (14,100).
They'll be back at it again for Day 2, where the bwin Team will hopefully continue its strong showing so far on the road to yet more big cashes on the GSOP Live circuit.
