21:44 - Level 14 - End of Day 2
The good news is that we've just wrapped up Day 2 here at WPT Venice and we've got two bwin Team members among the last 27 players standing who'll return tomorrow for Day 3!
It's a tale of two stacks, as Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet will bag up 250,000 chips to give him a very healthy stack when they resume play tomorrow, with average stack at 170,000.
Lionel "KentaroOe" Tran will also return tomorrow but he'll have just 40,000 chips to work with, trying to hang onto the money payouts at 18th place.
As always the bwin Poker Blog will be here to keep you updated on all the action so be sure to tune in tomorrow to see how the last two bwin Team members fare!

Congrats to our two bwin Team members through to Day 3 of WPT Venice!
21:10 - Level 14 - Blinds 1200/2400 400 ante
We've still got our last two bwin Team members in action, with Jeremie Sochet on 250,000 chips and Tran Lionel hanging in there with about 40,000.
With just thirty minutes left to play we've got 27 players left, creeping closer and closer to the money payouts at 18th place.

Tran Lionel is now seated next to Kara Scott as he tries to hang on to Day 3.
20:00 - Level 14 - Blinds 1200/2400 400 ante
Players are on the last 15 minute break of the day and Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet just won a huge pot against Filippo Candio to push up all the way up over the 200,000 chip mark, vaulting him into the top ten overall chip stacks!
Candio fired a big bet on a turn with the board reading Qh 10h 5h 5x and moved all-in on the river but Sochet quickly called and tabled Ah 6h for the nut flush, with Candio just mucking his hand and paying off our bwin Team member.
They'll play one last 90 minute level today and then it's off to the official player party where Dynamo will be performing a private show for players and guests.

Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet picked the right time to peak late on Day 2.
18:50 - Level 13 - Blinds 1000/2000 300 ante
A little bit of good fortune and time to rewind, as we actually have two bwin players still left!
Tran Lionel was very short stacked and seemingly done when his seat was occupied by another player during our last orbit of the room, but he actually got moved to another table with his 20,000 chips.
A double up later and he's not just still alive but on 40,000 chips, giving him some more breathing room.
18:50 - Level 13 - Blinds 1000/2000 300 ante
We're down to just one bwin Team member standing, with Tran Lionel finally succumbing to the short stack he was stuck with much of Day 2.
That leaves just Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet to carry the bwin Team banner, with our Frenchman sitting on about 75,000 chips.
We're down to 39 players left and an average stack of 120,000, so Sochet will have some work to do if he wants to hang on until the money, which we should hit at some point tomorrow.

Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet is our last bwin Team member standing here at WPT Venice.
16:28 - Level 12 - Blinds 800/1600 200 ante
Our two bwin Team members are still hanging in there with 45 players left, with Jeremie Sochet chipping up a bit to 60,000, while Tran Lionel is down to about 30,000 chips.
Here is the full payout table for all the money positions here:

Players are currently on a break, which is a perfect time to bring you the latest bwin team video!
16:10 - Level 11 - Blinds 600/1200 200 ante
Bad news here in Venice as our Team big stack Sandro Hirn has hit the rails, with his seat suddenly empty when we returned to the tournament room and tons of chips added to one of his tablemate's stack.
That leaves just Tran "KentaroOe" Lionel and Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet left for the Team's hopes, with both pretty shot stacked and on about 40,000 chips.
55 players are left so we've got quite a way to go before the money payouts at 18th place; our last two Team members will need a little help if they still want to be standing when the money is handed out.

Sandro Hirn has hit the rails here midway through Day 2.
15:00 - Level 11 - Blinds 600/1200 200 ante
Players are coming off their first break of the day, with the format changing slightly to 90 minute levels now.
Our three bwin Team members are still alive, with Sandro Hirn still leading the way and staying active, sitting on just over 150,000 chips at the break.

Sandro Hirn is large and in charge as far as the bwin Team chip stacks.
14:07 - Level 10 - Blinds 500/1000 100 ante
Ask and ye shall receive, with Tran Lionel just doubling up to get a little bit healthier at 30,000 chips.
We're scheduled to play a relatively short day today, with play ending around 9 PM so that players and guests get the day off early and can enjoy the WPT Player Party tonight where celebrity magician Dynamo will be in action amazing and delighting guests!
13:20 - Level 10 - Blinds 500/1000 100 ante
A nice start to the day for two of our bwinners, with Sandro Hirn now up to close to 150,000 chips and Jeremie Sochet chipping up close to the 100,000 mark.
Tran Lionel is still on a very short stack of 15,000 chips so fingers crossed that he gets in on the action as well as far as building his stack in the early going.

Tran Lionel is going to need a little luck in the early going to get back into the thick of things.
12:20 - Start of Day 2
We're about thirty minutes away from the start of Day 2, where we'll have three bwin Team members return to unbag chips and try to keep their runs alive at WPT Venice.
Sandro "blind2001" Hirn leads the way for the Team with 75,000 chips, while Jeremie "Fisherman" Sochet brings back 67,000 chips. Tran "KentaroOe" Lionel will have some work to do as he's got a very short stack of just 17,000 chips to start the day with.
