He won't have to make the trip along, though, as his roommate is not only making the trip to Vegas with him but also playing in Event #54 as well; hopefully it'll come down to a heads-up battle between the two for the Event #54 win (although they'd likely happily settle for just both making the money).
claraboya has been playing poker for 3 years and sticks to online NLHE. He's a SAP finance consultant by day, but would give all the WPT and EPT circuit events a whirl if his poker dreams come true and he has a huge cash at the WSOP.
He listed his other hobbies as reading and movies, with Phil Ivey both his favorite player and one he'd least like to see at his table.
