Gutenburg1 is a rarity on the bwin team in more ways than one: he's a rare book collector and dealer; he can be seen on both television and the silver screen; and he's the only current player to attend the WSOPE with the bwin Team.

He made his debut with the Team back in 2007 at the inaugural WSOPE, and he's played at the English Poker Open as well. He picked up the game of poker five years ago, playing mostly MTTs and SNGs, but considers himself strictly a hobbyist, and an actor, writer, and bookdealer by trade.

As far as players he admires and/or fears, what he'd do if he won the Main Event, and his recipe for success as far as winning his WSOP trip package, we'll let him take over the story there, as he tells it far better than we could summarize his questionnaire responses:

"Players I admire particularly are Negreanu (unflappable, supernatural reader, and just plain nice), Jason Mercier (no reverse gear, unreadably cryptic game) and Phil Ivey ( whose poker face my girlfriend once described as 'the face of a stupid baby', since when I can no longer take him seriously, although I probably should if he's at my table). New boys Cody and Trickett are terrifyingly perfect players, and are going to be huge.

If I won the ME, the first thing I'd buy would be a hotel suite, a vat of Jack Daniels, and the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team. But I guess everyone says that.

I won the package by a) concentrating, and not playing whilst simultaneously tiling the bathroom, doing my tax return, and worming the cat, as I often do, and b) by first checking that -RexCramer- wasn't in the tournament. I can't recommend that play highly enough."

Gutenburg1 has been to the WSOPE; now he gets to visit its bigger brother, the WSOP
