Sirin-22 has just bowed out here in the 2009 WSOP Main Event, despite flopping the nuts. Holding QJ, he and one opponent saw a flop of 8 9 10, with two clubs. Having tangled with the same opponent on previous hands, he wasn’t worried about scaring off his opponent, and got action from him on the flop.
Another club came on the turn, though, and his opponent instantly bet out enough to put Sirin-22 and his 12,000 in remaining chips all in. Sirin-22 finally made the crying call, only to see exactly what he feared when his opponent revealed his turned flush.
